I will be a Guest at the 2008 Gaylaxicon in Washington, DC. Gaylaxicon is an annual conference that showcases the queerer elements of fandom.

 

Whether I am on a panel, signing books or simply roaming the con, please do stop me and say hello. I rarely bite (but have been known to nibble a great deal).

If you are a bookseller, community coordinator, or convention representative interested in having me visit and read or sit on a panel, please email me. I am more than happy to give talks on writing, gay issues in speculative fiction, or on publishing (having worked for several years in the industry).

NEWS

Best Gay Stories 2008 released. I had the chance to read hundreds of gay-themed stories and choose the finest for this anthology.

 

Well, I may be the Susan Lucci of the Gaylactic Spectrum Award. I have work nominated in all 3 categories!

 

My debut novel, Vintage, was a finalist for the 2008 Andre Norton Award. Some woman named Rowling stole the award from me!

Ellen Datlow & Terri Windling bought "Thimbleriggery and Fledglings" for The Beastly Bride and Other Tales of the Animal People , their next YA anthology coming out from Viking Press in 2010.
